Coverings ‘20 preview
Arvex has been proudly exhibiting at the Coverings Show for over 10 years now. Every year we have the opportunity to meet and share this great experience with our customers and other companies and factories from all over the world.
This year, hundreds of exhibitors will gather in the vibrant city of New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in April to display all the latest innovations in the interior design world, but on February 23rd Coverings Show is promoting another event: the National Tile Day, an exclusive opportunity for the members of the tile and stone industry to enhance tiles and stone as “timeless elements of architecture and design”. On this day, interior design enthusiasts get the opportunity to join the conversation about why tiles are great options when it comes to renovations and share their favorite tile trends and designs.
On our side, we decided to celebrate with you this special day by sharing a preview of some of the new collections we are bringing to Coverings this year!
Le Creazioni
Starring glass, “Le Creazioni” is one of our most creative collections, a combination of shapes and materials that enhances the beauty of colors and digital printed graphics.
Glass combinations
The combination between glass chips and materials like marble, ceramics or metal gives mosaics an extravagant touch and a great effect which can liven up spaces and suit every need. This year we are thinking big proposing you 3 different combinations:
- Soft texture glass and marble
- Glazed porcelain and metallic glass
- Aluminum and 3mm thick glass
Digital prints
Following the trends, we selected and developed the best graphics for our mosaics and tiles, including: marble, onyx, fossil wood and cement look. Inkjet and digital printing technologies will do the magic in recreating high quality patterns. The visual impact of mirror frames and beveled edges won’t go unnoticed though…

Contemporanea
Endless possibilities in terms of colors and shapes can come to life with recycled glass. Year after year, the versatility of this material leads us to introduce new additions to this eco-friendly collection.
We focused on blends and colors with delicate tones but couldn’t resist some bright and strong colors too, also inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year. Moreover, thanks to inkjet technology we could recreate on recycled glass the shades that inspired our glazed basalt collection.
Another must-see are the new versions of the most classic marble look graphics such as: Statuario, Arabescato, Calacatta Gold, Sahara Noir, Nero Marquina and Bardiglio, also available in 3D shapes!
Il Porcellanato
ESTATE line
Straight from the Land of the Rising Sun, our new line of glazed and unglazed porcelain mosaics ESTATE lives up to its name, being one of the most colorful selection we ever had!
The mini chips and sticks are available in flat or domed version and have multiple finishes and effects along with glossy, matte and iridescent.
Le Pietre
This year we are taking with us a selection of beautiful limestones in with several finishes and dimensions, also in French pattern the shades of black and blue such as:
- Chinese Bluestone
- Belgian Bluestone
And in the shades of beige and grey:
- Gohare
- Roman Beige
- Jura Beige
- Moca Grey
The brushed and honed finishes are great to be used for exterior design, but will also give a unique and rustic effect to indoor spaces.

BRAND NEW
Made in Italy: Terrazzo tiles
Inspired by Roman deities, Arvex launches its terrazzo tiles line! This type of covering has been making its comeback for a few months now, so we decided to propose 14 colors selected and developed by our team and completely made in Italy, ready to steal the show!
We will give you further details about this line down the road to Coverings 2020, stay tuned…
WSPC
Another brand new introduction involves vinyl flooring. WSPC is a particular version of vinyl tiles with SPC core that merges the versatility of vinyl tiles and the look and appearance of parquet flooring thanks to an extra layer made of real wood.
